  • Overview

    Account Manager for accounts located in MI, IN and OH. Maintain a market presence with the customer base, to have a high level of comfort and trust, enabling AVL to be their first choice for testing equipment among products with comparable pricing and technology.

    Responsibilities

    • Account management either for a group of small-mid-sized accounts located in various regions, or for one to a few large accounts.
    • The primary focus is to sell solutions and products which solve customer needs.
    • Identification of new accounts and development of existing accounts.
    • Will require periodic account development planning and review of plan with Supervisor.
    • Documenting all sales activity in corporate CRM system per standards.
    • Follow all ISO sales processes for quote and proposal generation and tracking.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business or related area, or 4+ years of experience in sales
    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred.
    • Experience with a formal sales process, and CRM system preferred.
    • Domestic Travel can range from approximately 5 – 50%, depending on specific account base. Minimal overseas travel required
