    General Description:

    Requires Electrification system knowledge.  Provide software and hardware support for complex systems.  Must be knowledgeable in testing and data acquisition.  Troubleshoot complex problems and develop solutions.  Must be able to take charge of projects and drive to completion while managing to cost and time estimates.  Ownership of large complex test systems.  Excellent customer skills.

     

     

     

    Responsibilities

    Roles:

    • Act as liaison and company representative with customers.
    • Commission test systems including:
      • Setup and troubleshoot test and measurement systems
      • Troubleshoot sampling systems for gasious and particulate
      • Integrate auxiliary equipment into test system
      • Setup monitoring and control of relevant safeties
      • Create commissioning documentation
      • Provide training on system applications
      • Obtain customer sign-off
    • Write and implement complex custom software configurations
    • Provide sales technical support.
    • Provide project engineering technical support.
    • Help desk consultation.
    • Develop and present advanced training.
    • Technical research.
    • Travel required.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering or equivalent preferred
    • 5-7 years experience in emissions testing equipment preferred
    • In depth understanding of electrical and mechanical processes
    • Expertise related to testing methods and applications
    • Able to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics and drawings
    • Strong software adaption and modification skills
    • Background in internal combustion engine, powertrain, electrification or mobility research
    • Understanding of instrumentation and electrical processes
    • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Thorough knowledge of PC operation, structure, MS Windows, and computer networking required
    • Personal protection equipment training
