Overview

Senior Account Manager for accounts located around Northern California, primarily in the San Francisco, Bay Area.  Maintain a market presence with the customer base, to have a high level of comfort and trust, enabling AVL to be their first choice for testing equipment among products with comparable pricing and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Account management either for a group of small-mid-sized accounts located in various regions, or for one to a few large accounts.
  • The primary focus is to sell solutions and products which solve customer needs.
  • Identification of new accounts and development of existing accounts.
  • Will require periodic account development planning and review of plan with Supervisor.
  • Documenting all sales activity in corporate CRM system per standards.
  • Follow all ISO sales processes for quote and proposal generation and tracking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business or related area, or 8+ years of experience in sales
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred.
  • Demonstrated superior sales experience, or goal recognition required.
  • Experience with a formal sales process, and CRM system preferred.
